17-1 Gold Power

The 17-1 Gold team is our most competitive team for this age group. They will be participating in Cal Kickoff, Las Vegas Classic, and Lone Star National Qualifier, and an optional additional National Qualifier if needed.

Rayannah Salahuddin and Traci are Co-Head Coaches for this team. Traci is a hard working coach who has been coaching for 8 years and has been playing competitively for over 11 years. Traci is entering her fith season as an assistant coach at Westmoor High School. Before she starting coaching she played at Skyline College for 2 years as a middle blocker, and a impact all-around player. Following her senior year she coaches at Abbott Middle School for two years and Hillsdales High School for 1 year as an assistant.

Traci serves as an assistant Camp Director and instructor for Westmoor High School. Traci also coached club for Peninsula Juniors Volleyball Club for 2 years and is looking forward to her 4th season with 1st String.

Club Fees/ Payment Plans

Club Fees cover:

• Three practice per week
• Four sessions of private/ group coaching
• Team Tutoring sessions (All Sat/ Sun from Jan-Mar)
• Team strength/ volleyball training for season.
• Coaching stipends and staff wages;
• All coach’s travel;
• Full uniforms, balls training equipment;
• Tournament food; team bonding;
• Player recruiting services, and seminars for season.

17-1 Power Parent’s Choice National Qualifier: Parents will be given the option to choose the teams’ second National Qualifying tournament. Parents will be given a list of acceptable tournaments to choose from. Majority vote by anonymous ballot will rule, in the event of a tie the head coach will make the final decision.
